Supporting education and related programs for the empowerment
of children, youth and their communities in the Asia Pacific

Community & Service Groups

The Lasallian Foundation welcomes support from community and service groups who would like to become involved in the work of the Foundation to help brighten the future for children, young people and their communities who have little hope due to poverty and ignorance.

Opportunities for involvement include:

  • Fundraising
  • Sharing expertise
  • Skilled volunteers

The Lasallian Foundation is grateful for the support from many groups including financial support from the Rotary Clubs of Brimbank Central and Brighton in Victoria who have made grants towards the development of projects in Papua New Guinea.  Rotary Australia Community World Services (RAWCS) volunteers have been instrumental in building and maintenance repairs for disadvantaged communities in Port Moresby PNG in 2013 and 2014. The Catholic Womens League in NSW have been ongoing and passionate fundraisers for our work in the slums of Colombo.

Hardworking volunteers from businesses such as Telstra, Cisco and National Australia Bank have been valuable in contributing to our office and PNG shipping container project.

If your group would like to become involved and support the work of the Lasallian Foundation, please contact us on 03 9508 2700 or email

Depending on your location we may be able to arrange for a speaker to attend your Club or organisation to share with your members information about the programs supported by the Lasalian Foundation that are being developed and implemented to assist children and their communities in need.

Note: for all volunteering opportunities, it is mandatory to have a valid Working With Children Check, or National Police Check.
