MARCH 2008

The Lasallian Foundation received over AUD$800,000 of grant proposals for consideration during our first funding round for 2008. We were able to award just over AUD$300,000 worth of grants to projects in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea and Myanmar.

FEBRUARY 2008

DECEMBER 2007

The Lasallian Foundation wishes to thank Lachlan Haynes for making the Foundation the recipient of Art for a Cause 2007. The art auction raised $4000 which we have sent to Pakistan for the reconstruction of a toilet block at La Salle School Sant Singh Walla in Faisalabad, Pakistan.

OCTOBER 2006

Lasallian Foundation receives DGR status! The Lasallian Foundation has now been granted DGR (Deductible Gift Registrant) status in Australia, which will allow us to issue tax-deductible receipts in our own name to Australian donors. The Foundation already held approved Overseas Aid Fund status, and this will allow us to expand our fundraising and grant making in the Asia Pacific Region.
